Good point Jim.

But please don't forget that besides the assumed enemy being killed, there are thousands of ordinary uninvolved citizens being killed and millions more being displaced into a frigid winter without proper shelter or food.

Just as importantly, pray for the US administration who justifies killing and inflicting immense suffering on these innocent people as though they were sub-human.  Pray also for the so called journalists and so called news organisations who have been told by the US administration that they can't report the extent of collateral damage.

Isaiah writes about the Messiah as being "The Prince of Peace" (Isaiah 9:6).  Jesus calls upon all believers to become peacemakers, and says, "Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons [children] of God" (Matthew 5:9).  Paul writes, "For the anxious longings of the creation waits eagerly for the revealing of the sons [children] of God" (Romans 8:19).
