Reincarnation and Christianity

Dear Ray,

You wrote:

I don't want to never have a physical body again, I don't want to never experience a sunrise or swimming in a river or walking through the woods or petting an animal or hugging a friend. I don't want to be a disembodied soul for all of eternity.

The good news is that Christianity does not teach that we are going to be disembodied souls in eternity. We will receive new, glorified, spiritual bodies that will never be subject to death and decay again. The Lord Jesus himself after His resurrection from the dead was able to see, touch and feel but His body was no longer constrained by the limits of time and space.

I also look forward eagerly to the new heavens and earth where all of God's magnificent creation will be restored, including our beloved animal companions.
