Dear Phyllis:

To put a beloved animal companion to sleep when there is no hope of recovery is an act of love and compassion. This is the true meaning of our God given dominion.

There is a huge difference between your act of mercy, and those who deliberately cause an animal to suffer and die for their personal greed, or to pay someone else to do it for them.
