Thank you for writing and for your questions.

Your questions about God and sacrifices are a concern of many people, and the way the Church glorifies the deaths of animals only compounds the problem.

In order to understand this situation, we need to first understand the difference between God's intent and His concessions which He allowed because of the human hardness of heart as a way of limiting human depravity in the hopes of turning people back to God.
