In Reference to: 24 February 1991 - RECEIVING OUR NEW NAMES

Dear Frank!

This is a true reminder of our covenant with the Lord. And what a pleasure it has become to study His word. Like Abraham, I too had not completely received it at first. Perhaps I was too confused and there was nobody to confirm it to me – I doubted how I could be then the only person on earth to see things in this particular way – I thought I must therefore be wrong, thought I knew that what the Bible teaches to be correct. It was SO confusing! And such a blessing when I met others that confirmed my understandings of the Bible. I knew then that I was NOT the only person on this planet understanding the Bible like I do. What a blessing the Bible is! And thanks be to God that He does know the real intent of our hearts and minds and forgive our human failings!

It is indeed a cross and lots of self denial, but a joy and easy at the same time.
