Thank your for your comments and thought provoking questions.

Throughout recorded time, there has always been the struggle between good and evil; so from history, we learned that it doesn't seem very likely that good will completely triumph over evil until the Lord returns. Evil also seems to have no boundaries, and unless checked it will get more and more depraved.

So what has been checking evil? It's been the good that the peacemaking children of God have kept viable in the world. It is from this point of view that we believe that God is leading us, and if enough of us will listen, then hopefully evil's grip can be substantially suppressed.

In the meantime, even though we are in the world, we do not have to participate in the worldly ways around us. We can and should always be a witness of the Lord's love and peace, and where it is accepted then we can co-mingle, and where it is rejected, we move on.
