Dear Doug:

Thank you for writing back.

We have several sermons and some other commentaries posted that deal with aspects of the 10 commandments. If you look at our Scripture Index on the Church and Religion Page or on the Sermon Archives Page, you can look up Exodus 20 and any other passages you're interested in.

I never worry about ruffling feathers, because unless people are disturbed emotionally, they rarely change their lifestyles.

Actually, when we think about it, the 10 commandments are really part of God's concession and not His will, for if people would be obedient to God, and love Him and His creation with every part of their being, they would fulfill all of the Law and the Prophets, as Jesus said, and we wouldn't need the 10 commandments.
