Thank you very much for your comments.

We're getting the impression that most of you believe that the vast majority of Christian, including pastors are not really following Jesus Christ or His teachings, and that there is very little we can do about it, mostly because they won't look or listen.

Three Bible verses came to mind as we were reading the comments:

Matthew 6:24 You Cannot Serve God and Riches "No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.
NKJV

1 Timothy 6:10 For the love of money is a root of all sorts of evil, and some by longing for it have wandered away from the faith, and pierced themselves with many a pang.
NASB

Matthew 7:21-23

21 "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven; but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven.

22 "Many will say to Me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?'

23 "And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness.'

People say that the Bible is the word of God, but they live like they only want to believe or follow certain passages, and not the whole Bible.

Mary is correct, The Christianity of Jesus Christ has been hijacked.

We're committed to do something to change this, and be the loving and compassionate peacemaking children of God we are called upon to be for the benefit of the whole of creation.
