Dear Mike:

How wonderful! I noticed on the HSUS website that a pastor had included farm animals in the "Blessing of the Animals". For me, it's not about the whole congregation suddenly turning vegetarian. It's about the church addressing the cruelty and/or allowing expression and/or information in church, just as we do in reference to cruelty toward people in Africa, etc.

Congratulations for fitting this into the church community as I think it should be. I might mention that our church is a small one in a rather conservative Midwest community.
