The Dilemma Caused by Being Vegetarian in a Christian Church
Comments by Frank and Mary Hoffman - 7 Apr 2008

Dear Betty:

If seems that hardly a day goes by that we don't receive an email from a vegetarian/vegan/animal rights person who feels uncomfortable in their church.

There is something horribly wrong with Christianity as it is practiced today in most churches, and we don't believe it's because they don't know any better. We believe that they really do know, but they hide from the truth and pretend it doesn't exist. Then we come into their midst and stand as a witness against their hypocrisy, and it makes them feel uncomfortable, and instead of changing to compassionate living they avoid the messenger, which in turn makes us feel uncomfortable, much like the prophets of old.

In the Love of the Lord,

Frank and Mary
