The Dilemma Caused by Being Vegetarian in a Christian Church
Comments by Mike Shaw - 8 Apr 2008

While I have never been shy about being opinionated and never worry if someone finds me holier-than-thou, I agree that a good method is subtle. I had a fellow who was an avid fisherman and big time BBQ guy who loved his steaks. When he found out that I was a vegetarian he was surprised that I never talked about it. After hanging out together for a few months, he quit fishing and went totally vegan and is to this day, some 10 years later. This was very hard for him as he hung out with a lot of hunters and other guys who did what they thought was manly stuff........ To this day he has remained a vegan and gets more in your face than I ever did...

Take care,

Mike
