Frank and Mary,

Yes, I agree with you, only about 50% of Adventists are vegetarian. As a church organization we teach vegetarianism, but as with all churches not everyone follows the teaching of the Bible. I praise God the 50% of us (Adventists) are following what we know to be true.

You may find some churches more welcoming than others like any other denomination, but you may find some Adventist websites that would be very friendly to your cause.

I do health seminars and vegan cooking schools beside private counseling. I do one seminar that teaches the people how the animals are treated, the impact on the environment and issues of health when it comes to eating animal products. Many people are unaware of these issues.
