Whose Life Is More Important?
Comments by Laurie - 2 Jul 2009

I'm not necessarily proud of it, but I'll go you one better. I actually smile when the bull throws the rider and steps on him. Much like my not being terribly upset when the people being chased by the bulls along the streets (I'm forgetting where - Pamplona?) don't make it up the walls and out of the way in time. Not something "Jesus Would Do", I'm betting, but when animals get their licks in - intentionally or accidentally - when put in bad situations by people, the people's being stomped on/trampled/thrown around doesn't bother me one bit. Same thing with people who venture into zoo enclosures - how does it feel to be seen as food??? (that's what I want to ask, anyway, and what I'm usually yelling at the TV when I watch the report).
