Dear Friend,

Today, I am writing with wonderful news. As reported on the front page of the industry’s own Sporting Press, Drumbo Park in County Down held its last race on Saturday! The announcement brings to a close nearly twenty years of greyhound exploitation.

This is the beginning of the end to all dog racing in Northern Ireland. But there is still more work to do! The century-old Brandywell Greyhound Stadium yet remains, fed by greyhound breeders who produce litter after litter with no transparency and no protection for the dogs.

Here’s what you can do to help:

Please join us for the Causeway Coast Dog Rescue Annual Conference on Tuesday, October 6 in Belfast. We are this year’s chief sponsor and GREY2K’s Director of Advocacy Patrick Baga will be speaking.

With your help, we will make history for the dogs and give all greyhounds the second chance they deserve.

Let’s keep fighting until dog racing and track breeding farms are shut down for good.

For the hounds,

Christine A. Dorchak, Esq.
President
