Tripadvisor says NO to Dog Racing

Today, we are happy to share the greyt news that leading travel website Tripadvisor has made the wise decision to remove dog racing from its platform. That’s right, greyhound cruelty will no longer be a suggested form of entertainment!
Tripadvisor has determined that cruelty to greyhounds does not meet its animal welfare policy:
Key Policy Rules
- Domesticated Animals: Bans experiences that put domesticated animals at risk for entertainment, such as animal racing (dogs, horses, camels) and rodeos. Other working or riding animal exhibitions are allowed only if they follow responsible welfare guidelines.
- Shows and Performances: Prohibits acts where animals perform demeaning tricks, wear costumes, or face physical/psychological distress through training.

When anyone tries to find dog racing via Tripadvisor, the following message will appear:
“This business does not currently meet Tripadvisor’s Animal Welfare Policy.”This is yet another example of how the world is waking up and walking away from animal acts and other activities that hurt our fellow beings and we send our deep thanks to Tripadvisor today!
