On August 14th, 2016, The Sun newspaper of London (Yasmin Jeffery) reported:

"COW'S milk has long been recommended by doctors and nutritionists for its ability to boost calcium ingestion and keep bones strong and healthy. But according to new research, dairy products do little to strengthen bones, and can double the risk of an early death."

Ice cream is delicious. So is pizza. Enjoy the ride and hope that your risk is not worth the ultimate "rewards" of premature death and unhealthy irony.

The British Medical Journal study reveals the science that no amount of phony marketing will be able to overturn. In addition to shortening longevity, researchers found that the more milk and dairy products one consumes, the greater is the rate of bone fractures and osteoporosis.

After monitoring over 106,700 people for 20 years (61,433 women and 45,339 men), author Karl Michaelsson, of Uppsala U. in Sweden, concluded:

"Our results question the validity of recommendations to consume high amounts of milk to prevent fragility fractures. A higher consumption of milk in women and men is not accompanied by a lower risk of fracture and instead may be associated with a higher rate of death."
