Artichokes – 7 October 2006

After we were married (over 45 years ago) Frank introduced me to eating artichokes in a way that I had never heard of before. If you’re like I was, and think that artichokes come pickled and in little bottles, or that most of the artichoke must be tossed out so that the small “heart” can be used, there is a real treat in store for you. This is really a fun-to eat food!

For step by step instructions with photos on the way we prepare and eat artichokes, take a look at:

"Joyful Curmudgeon"
An oxymoron?
No! I see all the beauty of God's creation and I'm joyful.  At the same time, I see all the suffering and corruption going on in the world, and feel called to help expose and end it so that we may have true peace and compassion.
