No! I see all the beauty of God's creation and I'm joyful.  At the same time, I see all the suffering and corruption going on in the world, and feel called to help expose and end it so that we may have true peace and compassion.

Fruitcake – 22 December 2006

This time of year seems to bring out all the stale jokes about fruitcakes – you know the ones about the dry fruitcake that makes the rounds at Christmas time, etc.

Well, this fruitcake is moist, spicy, delicious – simply yummy! We bake it in a large (8 inches X 13 inches) “Pyrex” or other heat-treated baking dish or in two smaller glass dishes. It’s perfect for parties and always very popular with everyone.
