DST: Spring Forward, Fall Back 10 March 2007

A new federal law has changed the start of Daylight Saving Time (DST) from the first Sunday in April to the second Sunday in March, effective tomorrow at 2:00 a.m. when well be setting our clocks forward one hour (Spring forward). Then, on the first Sunday in November November 4 this year well be setting our clocks back one hour (Fall back), instead of on the last Sunday in October as in the past.

The Energy Policy Act of 2005 set these new dates for DST. I think its a good idea, not only for saving energy but also lives. The added hour of daylight makes driving home from work a little safer.

"Joyful Curmudgeon"
An oxymoron?
No! I see all the beauty of God's creation and I'm joyful.  At the same time, I see all the suffering and corruption going on in the world, and feel called to help expose and end it so that we may have true peace and compassion.
