No! I see all the beauty of God's creation and I'm joyful.  At the same time, I see all the suffering and corruption going on in the world, and feel called to help expose and end it so that we may have true peace and compassion.


Nor’easter – 17 March 2007

After an overnight nor’easter dumped nearly twenty inches of snow here, it looks more like Christmas should have looked instead of St. Patrick’s Day! And the first day of spring is only four days away!

Nor’easters dump a lot of snow:
A pristine blanket pure and white
Covers all that’s here below
And everything in sight.
Just four days till spring?
Outside you’d never know –
Winter still can bring
Icy winds that blow,
Piling up the snow!
