"Joyful Curmudgeon" An oxymoron?
No! I see all the beauty of God's creation and I'm joyful. At the same
time, I see all the suffering and corruption going on in the world, and feel
called to help expose and end it so that we may have true peace and compassion.
“To produce foie gras, male ducks are force-fed 6 or 7 pounds of grain
three times a day with an air-driven feeder tube. This torturous process
goes on for 28 days until the ducks’ livers, from which the pâté is made,
bloat to 6 to 12 times their normal size. About 10 percent of the ducks
don’t make it to slaughter. They die when their stomachs burst.”
