A Mary T. Hoffman Commentary from All-Creatures.org

"Joyful Curmudgeon" An oxymoron?
No! I see all the beauty of God's creation and I'm joyful.  At the same time, I see all the suffering and corruption going on in the world, and feel called to help expose and end it so that we may have true peace and compassion.

Early December – 3 December 2008
By Mary T. Hoffman

What a gorgeous December day! Lots of sunlight, not a cloud in the sky, and 38 degrees F. – so we took one of our long walks.

The only snow we’ve had here amounted to just a few flakes with no accumulation in November.
Here’s something I wrote about this day:

Early December
By Mary T. Hoffman

Early December –
No snow in sight,
The sky’s so clear,
The sun is bright.

Let’s go outdoors
And take a walk,
Enjoying nature
While we talk.
