"Joyful Curmudgeon" An oxymoron?
No! I see all the beauty of God's creation and I'm joyful. At the same
time, I see all the suffering and corruption going on in the world, and feel
called to help expose and end it so that we may have true peace and compassion.
The weather has been ideal for our long walks, and we’re seeing pussy willow (Salix discolor) along the side of the road – a sure sign of spring.
After the recent ice storms, the sunshine and clear blue sky are a welcome change; and in the west, the Catskill Mountains stand out in darker blue contrast.
The change of seasons is just one of the many reasons I like living here.J
