No! I see all the beauty of God's creation and I'm joyful.  At the same time, I see all the suffering and corruption going on in the world, and feel called to help expose and end it so that we may have true peace and compassion.

Celebrate Life! – 31 March 2009

Sunday afternoon, Frank and I drove down to New Jersey for a Lenten Vegan Dinner held as a fundraiser for God’s Creatures Ministry. As guest speaker, Frank talked about the meaning of Passover and Easter, and how Jesus spoke of life. Therefore, it stands to reason that the lives of Christians, by their everyday choices, should reflect His teachings. Obviously, eating body parts and secretions from animals contradicts the respect for life that Jesus taught.

It’s always fun to be with people who really “celebrate life” with their vegan lifestyle choices.
