Letter from Nicole Concerning Our Web Site Ministry, Love of Animals, and Becoming Vegan - 7 Jan 2005

I just stumbled upon your website by chance. I thank God so much for people like you who love and care about animals. I am so incredibly saddened how animals are treated. Your web site has opened my eyes even more. I am 28 years old, and I have been a vegetarian since I was 12. I want to do more to help animals. I would love to become vegan, but I need to educate myself more on food choices. Do you have any thoughts on how I can help animals more? Thank you so much!

Dear Nicole:

Thank you very much for your encouraging comments and question.

It is obvious that you're a very compassionate person. Feeling the pain and suffering of these animals was the greatest incentive for us to become vegans (and our health also improved, particularly when we stopped eating dairy products). This should help you, too.

Our recommendation is to eat a whole food vegan diet, with little or no processed foods. There are always so many options to choose from that we sometimes want to eat too much. We have an extensive recipe section on our web site that you should find helpful in switching to a vegan diet.

We look forward to hearing from you again.

In the Love of the Lord,

Frank and Mary
