Letter from Carolyn about Animal Cruelty and Christian Morality - 18 Nov 2006

I really appreciate that you tie your feelings about animal cruelty and questionable Christian morality together. Disregard for life on such a large scale obviously has dark moral implications- not to say that those who participate in factory farming practices do so in the name of cruelty, but there is certainly moral disregard. I find your approach refreshing because many folks think of vegetarianism as a radical and liberal frame of mind, but any Christian should understand when you represent it as an unconditional respect for all God's creatures (even if they don't agree).

Thanks for making animal rights more accessible,
