Letter from Mikell Worley about Our Web Site - 13 May 2007
Thank you for your wonderful site! Last year I did a sketch of a bull thistle and I am finally getting around to painting it. I thought I would look it up on the internet to find a photo of the colors. Many sites don't even include this exquisite flower - just the leaves and the labels - weed, invasive, etc. I find beauty in all creatures and find it difficult to find people who share my opinion. Judging by your site, it should be easy. You've had a lot of visitors!
I work with young people and the homeless and I use the "weed" analogy when working with them. I always tell them that:
"A weed is a plant whose virtues have not yet been discovered." I heard it years ago - when I finish my painting I'll get back to your web site and see if I can find it in your list of quotes.
Thank you for your respect for all of God's gifts! How refreshing!
Best wishes and blessings,
Ms. Mikell (pronounced Michael) Worley

Dear Mikell:
Thank you for your kind and encouraging letter.
If you're interested, when you finish your painting, we'd love to publish a copy with the photos.
In the Love of the Lord,
Frank and Mary
