Letter from Sharlene Ashton about Eating Flesh, Health, and Animal Activism - 18 Sep 2007

Hi again, I was hoping you could give me some tips to help while I have in money to give, I do have time and a passion, I MUST ADMIT I DON'T EAT MEAT MYSELF CAUSE I DISLIKE IT . But I feed my kids meat as I believe they need the nutrition. I am genuinely interested in helping animals that are tortured and slaughtered for no good reason eg (sharks, bears whales the list goes on). THANKS IN ADVANCE

SHARLENE

Dear Sharlene:

Thanks for writing back.

Actually, no one needs to eat an animal's flesh and bodily secretions in order to be healthy; in fact, they would be a whole lot more healthy if they ate a non-processes whole plant food diet. If you'd like to learn more, take a look at our health and recipe section.

You might try writing some letters to the newspapers, and send copies to us so that we can publish them even if the papers don't. Take a look at our letter section for some ideas. Pick something that is currently in the news or in an advertisement, in which case you could write to the company.

We hope this helps, and we look forward to hearing from you, soon.

In the Love of the Lord,

Frank and Mary
