Letter From Tabitha About Her Talks With Her Priest - October 23, 2008

I wanted to share my feelings and thoughts with you. Fr John said if I think he is a horrible person, we could end our friendship. I told him that I still love him and I have to accept who he is but he doesn't think twice how animals suffer.

He was upset with me that I share everything with you. I told him that I feel very comfortable and very VERY connected to you and want to meet you ONE DAY to give you a big HUG. Your site saved my life because I cried every other night thinking it was so wrong to eat animals and animals had to put to sleep and all that. I look at my dogs. I was so angry at God for letting it happen and letting people eat meat.

When I cried that night when I looked at my dogs, something pushed my shoulder into my computer and I Googled, "Does God love animals?" as I told you before. I believe it was God's plan. That's how I found your site. It was like, I knew it and I AM NOT ALONE.

I will become Vegan on January 1st 2009. I pray I will stick with it because I am exposed to people eating meat in front of me.

Last Sunday, my daughter's dad was cooking scrambled eggs. I ate a little but my stomach hurt. I told him I was getting ready to become Vegan. I quit eating gyros.

About your donations, I am really poor but I can donate $10 every month if it's ok with you.

Dear Tabitha:

Thank you for your kind and encouraging comments about our ministry. We are always here to help in any way we can.

We are troubles by John's comments about not wanting you to tell us about your feeling, because he has failed to minister to your empathy for animals. He is an example of the very reason that so many atrocities are committed upon animals. The church had failed to take a stand against the cruelty and exploitation. This is why we have our ministry; we could no longer keep silent about the church's indifference to the suffering of animals.

You do not have to contribute money to our Foundation ministry, just be a friend, and contribute your support for helping to make this a kinder and more gentle world.

Are you good at lip reading, and can you talk to the hearing people who do not know sign language?

Send us a photo of you, your daughter, and the mutts. It would be a great family photo.

In the Love of the Lord,

Frank and Mary
