Letter From Cathy About Cruelty to Raccoon Dogs - 20 Feb 2009

I was searching about the Raccoon Dog after watching a show about wolves and the Raccoon Dog was on the show. I'd never seen one before. I love raccoons and that's what caught my interest. After reading all about them on Wikipedia I really fell in love with them.....then I went to your site next, not realizing what kind of site you have here.

OH MY GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was so extremely difficult for me to read most of the paragraphs next to all the pics. I could only look at each pic for a split second. I felt I was going to throw up.

I don't understand how a person can be so inhumane. I felt the pain of those helpless animals.

I see all the other animals on your site and just can't bare to look at what's being done to them. I can only really imagine unless I look.

I'm glad this was brought to my attention and will e-mail this on to all I know, I'm sure everyone won't be happy with me because it is so sickening.

Unfortunately I live check to check and it's getting towards the end of the month, but I intend on trying to donate at least something to you each month. I won't be able to sleep again until I know that I'm at least trying to help do what I can.

I love animals more than people and to see this injustice done makes me sick beyond words. Can we all really make a difference in saving any lives or end cruelties to these poor souls?

Thank you, Cathy

Dear Cathy:

Thank you very much for writing and telling us about your feelings and desire to help.

By telling the people you know about these atrocities, and referring them to our web site so that they can see for themselves is doing a lot of good, for these people will never be able to deny that these horrors exist.

We are constantly posting new things on our web site that will help your speak out about animal issues.

We have an uphill battle to change public opinion to the point where they will no longer exploit animals or cause them the suffer, but every day we are making some progress, like we did with you. The key is that we must do whatever we can or there will never be any change and things will only get worse. So, keep up your good efforts.

We look forward to hearing from you again.

In the Love of the Lord,

Frank and Mary
