Lucas' Letter About Sport Hunting and Our Response
12 October 2000

Lucas Wrote - 12 October 2000

You have no right to abolish sport hunting.

Our Response - 12 October 2000

Dear Lucas:

You're absolutely correct. We don't have any "right" to abolish sports hunting. Sports hunting can only be abolished when the hearts of people are changed to feel compassion for our fellow creatures.

For something to be a sport, it implies that people take pleasure in it. I personally can't understand how a person's heart could be so hardened that he or she could actually take pleasure in harming another living being, and enjoy inflicting pain and suffering.

It's something we should all seriously think about, for it speaks tons about the problems within our society.

In the Love of the Lord,
