I was fortunate to attend the opening of AVC, I think it was 5 years ago, and to spend time there this afternoon before the doors closed at 5pm.

AVC hosted history tours. This one led by Elizabeth was about Benjamin Franklin’s transition from slave holder to abolitionist, who also introduced tofu - ‘Chinese cheese’ to America. Photo from Suzanne McAllister
