An all-creatures.org Guide to Kingdom Living. True Christian living requires us to live according to Kingdom standards which bring Heaven to earth

Hebrews 10:38 New International Version

38. “But my righteous one will live by faith.  And I take no pleasure in the one who shrinks back.

At the center of Christianity is our faith. As a rule, faith is about believing something without having to see it with our physical eyes and knowing in our hearts that whatever it is we are believing will happen for us.  But it is also believing that if it does not come to pass,  it is because it is not the best answer for us.

Hebrews 11:1 New Century Version

1. Faith means being sure of the things we hope for and knowing that something is real even if we do not see it.

If we are in fear about a particular situation then we are not in faith about it. We may have faith in one area but not in another.  We could have faith that our paycheck will come on time, but not believe our health issue will be resolved.  Faith is a positive action toward manifesting something good.   On this earth we go through difficulties and trials so that our faith can be challenged and built up in the areas where faith is lacking.  We cannot be lopsided in our decision making, because it will cause imbalance. The enemy waits for our footing to be compromised so that he can destroy us when we're down for he cannot defeat us while we are standing in the presence and power of God.

James 1:7-8 New Living Translation

7. Such people should not expect to receive anything from the Lord.

8. Their loyalty is divided between God and the world, and they are unstable in everything they do.

Our faith must always be central to our lives and our heart must be focused upon God because He is our hope.  He alone is the answer to any and all issues and when we know Him as a loving Father who cares deeply, then we will trust Him in our most frightening situations.  We need to know that God uses everything together for the purpose of creating a beautiful tapestry woven with one moment at a time to create a picture that represents the glory of God.

Fear only destroys the beauty that is manifesting in us but faith gives us the confident peace we need to live on earth.  Jesus died so that we could dwell protected under the great wings of God; He has given us what we need to live on the earth and He also promises to be with us every step of the way.

Hebrews 13:5 English Standard Version

5. Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”

We must keep ourselves out of fear by speaking and walking in faith. It is a hard road, but as we go through the ups and downs of faith walking, we will reach our pinnacle of strength.

God bless

lamb-rightThe purpose of this series is to encourage people to live as loving, compassionate, and peacemaking children of God: Jesus tells us to pray, "Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven." (Matthew 6:10) God tells us through Micah (6:8), "He has told you, O man, what is good; And what does the Lord require of you But to do justice, to love kindness, And to walk humbly with your God." And we know from Revelation 21:4 that there will be no more mourning, or crying, or pain, or death. Thus, Christian living requires us to set the standards of these conditions here on earth for our fellow human beings, and for the other animals, as a witness to the rest of the world. To do otherwise is not Christian.
