A Dream Come True

With every dream, there is an obligation
To run each step with all your might
And do what is right, before God and man
As your life is lived according to plan.

With every dream, there is a challenge
To divert your journey from your path
But occasionally you laugh, as the evil persist
With distractions you must resist.

With every dream, there is a purpose
To excel beyond your greatest strength
And at whatever length, you press ahead
Traveling the path you are lead.

With every dream, there is an end
That you will either celebrate or grieve
Although hard to believe, having died
You'll find your life has only been lived, inside.
