Animals Give Us So Much
Poetry and Music By Andrew Pell
If you are lonely, get a pet.
Their love for you will never set.
They love without precondition or need.
They are a gift from God to set you free.
A dog or cat is your sister or brother.
Some would say, “Why would you bother”.
Animals love us unconditionally.
Unlike humans they don’t suffer from rationality.
Talk to them, play with them, they have a lot to say.
They bring harmony to every minute of the day.
Animals can be angels in disguise.
This is known only to the very wise.
Treat your pet with love and affection.
You will always have their attention.
