Over gentle earth

A beginning
- of sorts.
I have dreamed,
laughed, wept,
in lens of animal
hope.

I seek a world of
compassion.
Belligerence – be gone.

Amber dawn
rises,
over gentle earth.

A caress,
held,
slopes of mother.
Rivers of tears – long shed.

We seek
new beginnings,
our hands on the world.
Deep dark soil.

A heart’s whisper becomes
a thrum.
Tears become – hope.

A born,
beloved moment,
for us all.
