I walk the green path

I walk the path of frustration
I walk the path of tears
I walk the path of sorrow
Barefoot, in fear

I walk the path that’s uncertain
I walk the path of dark truth
I walk the path of confusion
Barefoot, no roots

I walk the path of shouting
I walk the path of pain
I walk the path so narrow
Barefoot, in vain

I walk the path of the animal
I walk the path of Gaia
I walk the path of compassion
Barefoot, inspired

I walk the path of hope
I walk the path with others
I walk the path of life
Barefoot, beloved

I walk the path of my ancestors
I walk the path of sweet song
I walk the green path, my friend
Barefoot, and strong
