Would it be so terrible?
By Beryl Furman

Would it be so terrible if everyone born could live?

Would it be so terrible, if everyone could experience childhood, youth, adulthood and old age?

Would it be so terrible, if everyone could choose their beloved and build their own nest?

Would it be so terrible, if all mothers and fathers could take care of their little ones?

Would it be so terrible, if everyone could use their excellent skills, feel useful and experience their life as meaningful?

Would it be so terrible, if all creatures able to fly could reach the open skies?

Would it be so terrible, if all galloping creatures could gallop on the open plains?

Would it be so terrible, if one could not capture the innocent?

Would it be so terrible, if all who like animals also appreciated them?

Would it be so terrible, if love meant good for the other one?

Would it be so terrible, if we loved?
