Cast away the Dreams of Darkness
Poetry and Music By Andrew Pell

Circumstances change and we sink low into a depression.
It is as if we have entered a spiritual recession.
The darkness deepens and we have lost sight of who we are.
Yet our journey in life has travelled very far.
It is hard to lift ourselves out of this feeling of helplessness.
We can no longer think, what happens next is any ones guess.
When we reach the bottom, we can only move upward and forward.
The darkness does not always have to be there.
We embrace life and the reality is we do care.
Be bold, be strong and in our own way we move forward if we dare.
Life may not always be fair, but to others around we love it can be fair.
Cast away the dreams of darkness and lift the veil and see the light.
You know then your future will be ever so bright.
