Ever Faithful, Ever Sure
Poetry and Music By Andrew Pell
Beautiful words found in that lovely old hymn.
God is love and his presence is throughout Eternity,
With God there is no beginning, nor end.
He is there in people’s hearts and mind.
It is like a father and friend walking with you every day.
When we take a wrong direction, he gently takes us by the hand.
And we are glad.
God is with us all our days.
This is the reality not some gigantic cosmic play,
We are his children yet we have wandered far away,
His light shines upon us where ever we are.
We may have walked away, but God hasn’t.
He takes us by the hand.
Together we walk across the timeless sand.
