You made the world beautiful, your grace overflowed
Everyone who knew you wanted to know you more
Humble, wise, caring eyes, admired and adored
I miss you, Mother

Even now I talk to you, imagine what you’d say
Wonder where you are, why you went away
We were having fun dreaming dreams to fulfill one day
I miss you, Mother

I turned to the courts of heaven for an order
Grant me relief, all at once, an answer
“The highest true way is through, no getting over”
I miss you, Mother

Every thought of you is gentle on my mind
You’re the birds softly singing on the winds and ocean tide
Calling me to live my dreams, build a castle with my life
I miss you, Mother

I moved the courts of heaven and discovered
My prayer for relief in a quiet answer
“You will make it through, no getting over”
I miss you, Mother

I love you forever
I miss you, Mother
Always together
Love, your Daughter
