Spiritual and Inspirational poetry that touch the heart and soul, and provoke the mind.
We all know the story of the Good Samaritan,
Who stopped to help someone he didn’t know and off a different belief.
He showed mercy and love to a complete stranger.
He did what Christ would have done.
The divine call to assist transcends all religions.
The modern Samaritan doesn’t have to be an individual.
It can be a non profit organization to assist the hungry and outcast.
The modern Samaritan would be ST.Vincent de Paul or The Salvation army.
There are many others who do good work.
Everyone can be a modern day Samaritan if they opened their eyes and hearts.
If we see someone needy talk to them, treat them as a brother or sister.
This is what Christ did, this is what we need to do.
Follow the example of those who have gone before.
Listen to the divine call that God calls each and everyone to serve.
The world would be a better place if everyone was receptive to the call.
