The Morning of my Life
Poetry and Music By Andrew Pell
When we were young, it is like the morning of our life.
We had fun, we played and we didn’t get into too much strife.
The hours were endless, the nights were long.
Carefree days and life was a beautiful song.
Nothing really could ever go wrong.
The world was new and playtime filled the whole day.
Magical days with imaginary friends wanting to play,
Those days were a treasure trove with memories that will last.
When we grow up, the pace of life is very fast.
When we sad, think of your carefree days and laugh.
Think of life as a journey on a beautiful path.
