Spiritual and Inspirational poetry that touch the heart and soul, and provoke the mind.
Purim is a joyous Jewish Festival commemorating the survival of the Jews who in the 5th Century BC were marked for Death by their Persian rulers. The story is related in the biblical Book of Esther. Purim is celebrated every year. The Jewish people living in Persia at this time were saved from extermination by the courage of this young Jewish woman named Esther. (Text taken from JCA – The Jewish Report).
Purim
It is one of the Five Scrolls (Megillot) in the Hebrew Bible.
Esther was able to stop the genocide.
God was on her side.
The Book of Esther is read twice.
Once in the morning,
Once in the Evening,
Esther was a great and holy lady who loved her people.
The Book of Esther is a beautiful romantic story.
A Jewish lady who was loved by the Persian King,
Esther became the Queen, a love story where they lived happily ever after.
Such wonderful stories found in the Sacred Texts bring humanity hope and
Peace.
We all pray that God’s love and intervention in our earthly lives will never
cease.
In the Bible can be found the treasures of life, peace and love,
Read a chapter a day and see how it can transform your life.
In this bleak World at the moment, the Bible brings hope for everyone.
Read the Bible and read it with a friend.
To a tired and sad heart it will surely mend.
When you celebrate Purim, think of Esther and her determination of love and
good will.
