Poetry and Music By Andrew Pell
Seize the Day do not worry about tomorrow or next week
What you do today will determine your future if you truly seek.
The power of action can be overwhelming.
The pain of inaction can be distressing.
What we achieve each day can bring forth a sunny day.
It is when we wake with no plan we have lost our way.
Today is just a day that will come and go,
It is only sad when we have nothing to show.
Take action and plan a set of goals.
Get out talk to people, reach out to lost souls.
A single word today can help a stranger’s tomorrow.
You could create a day where they can forget their sorrow.
Today will pass and tomorrow will be here.
Seize the Day then have nothing to fear.
