There Is a New Day Dawning
Poetry and Music By Andrew Pell

When we are hit with sadness and sorrows.
We think there will be no tomorrow.
Life’s burdens seem overwhelming.
The Darkness seems all encompassing.
 
But daylight will always follow the night.
Be receptive to the golden rays of light.
Even in the darkest night there are shining stars
They will heal any heartache or long-term scars.

Look deep within, there the answer will be.
Open your third eye so you can clearly see.
Listen to the quiet voice within.
Peace it will surely bring.

Send thoughts of love to a world in despair.
Show the people around you that you really do care.
Walk in the daylight, not in darkness.
Take a moment to stop and enjoy a rest.

Let the sea of tranquillity wash over you now.
Let the Divine show you how.
The darkness flees with the morning light.
Each new day radiates love that is bright.
