How often do we take a ride on the emotional roller coaster?
It isn’t a ride that we want to encourage or foster.
But unwittingly we find ourselves taking a ride.
It seems like fate will ultimately decide.
It can be difficult to step outside the emotional line.
We wish we could stop our feelings in time.
Most of the time we fail.
We drift along without a sail.
Head on into a billowed gale;
That often will make us pale.
Stop for a moment and take back control.
It is easy to sit back to reason and console.
Be positive, get out and have some fun.
Enjoy life; the battle is already won.
Step outside from your darkest place.
Do this at your own time and pace.
It is the light that will hit you face to face.
Walk in the light for it will guide you through.
You will discover something wondrous and new.
Take the first step to change things around.
A new challenge, a new hope is there to be found.
Stop the emotional roller coaster now.
Your inner guidance will show you how.
