The Second Coming of Christ
Poetry and Music By Andrew Pell
Who will stand on that great and terrible day?
Return to God; please do not delay.
The Lord will separate the good from the bad.
There will be many lost souls who will be very sad.
The righteous will sing a brand new song.
The days of trouble will not be long.
The lightning will flash from east to west.
The earth will tremble at God’s behest.
A new age will begin with everlasting peace.
All wars and hatred will permanently cease.
The new creation will be completed.
All arrogance and evil will be unseated.
The judge of all time will reign as king.
The heavenly and earthly choirs, their anthems will they sing.
Who will stand on that great and terrible day?
Listen now to the Lamb of God; embrace what he has to say.
The Church of God cannot be still.
Please listen to the Father’s will.
