O' Word, Ye Are A Flame
Poetry By Anthony James
T'is You,
I thought You had left me
I lay alone..
A dead man, dying
My name,
My mother gave me
Though no definition
Of me, could I ever find..
And I preferred to be
Undefinable.
But, my Father
Whom I belong to, Truly
He made me indefeasible
Long before the clay
Was cast over me.
O' God,
I thought You had left me
I lay alone..
A dead man, dying
I thought
I am alone.
So, I died alone.
Where did I go?
That Fire..
The Son,
The Prince.
The Lamb.
And King.
And Savior.
And Friend.
And Brother.
Then, did I know.
The Word.
Then did I know
The Fire of Christ
Then did I weep
And fall to my knees
In Your Victory
Fire Upon me...
Fire of Fire..
The Fire And The Holy Spirit
Baptized.
A man,
Alone, no more.
O' God,
Truly, Ye never left me.
I lay alone.. yea..
Ye, are with me, now
A dead man, who died
Yet, my God
I Live.
