(Pumpkin Puree) Pumpkin puree can be home made by cooking the pumplin until the flesh is soft, scooped out into a blender container and run at high speed until it is pureed, or it can be purchased in a can in the supermarket. It is great for making curried soups, and for making pies, pudding, cakes, cookies, and more. Home made pumpkin puree can also be frozen in tightly sealed containers for several months for use at a later date. Pumpkin puree is also good to help settle the stomaches of companion animals when they are sick. See nutritional information below.
